Ask the Virtual Assistant

Contemplating launching your own Virtual Assistance practice?  Good for you and beware!  Working virtually is a tough gig, and launching a business in this field should not be taken lightly.

There are so many things to consider when launching any business, but where to start?  My recommendation is to approach and spend time with a successful Virtual Assistant whom you admire and ask her to coach or mentor you.   Of course, she's not going to give the store away for free, and you shouldn't expect her to do so.  You're not looking to reinvent the wheel; instead, you're looking to get a leg up, soak up the advice and guidance, and establish a solid foundation for your business plans.

Living and breathing the “virtual business life” takes a lot of moxie, and I've got big-time respect for those of you who've been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and choose to make a go of this.  Nevertheless, I want you to be smart about working in this field.  Do your research (and more, even when you think you know everything), network with fellow Virtual Assistants and get your business off to a very good and healthy start.

What is "Ask the Virtual Assistant"?

Ask the VA is a 1-hour Webinar with me at the helm.  Sixty minutes jam-packed with hardcore advice and my experiences in the industry, followed by your questions.  We'll discuss marketing and bringing on new clients, your web presence, maintaining the work-life balance, and anything else your heart desires.

You've got tons of questions, and I've got the knowledge you're seeking.

Lori Davis:  The 411

Who am I?  You can learn more about me by reviewing my website, plus making note of these items:

  • I get a kick out of helping people.

  • If you're truly interested in launching your own virtual business, I want you to go into this with eyes wide open along with a true sense of what it takes to make a Virtual Assistant company a success.

  • I love to talk and share my experiences and knowledge.

  • I am an effective communicator.

  • I am aggressive.

  • I want to ensure you're always doing your best, feeling your best, and that you have the tools you need to succeed.

  • I've been living the virtual business lifestyle since January 2000.  You can't be in business as a professional Virtual Assistant as long as I have without being truly effective, skilled and knowledgeable.

  • I make a significant income each year.

  • I will never ever return to Corporate America.

I am a multi-faceted individual, just like you are, and I'm looking forward to sharing more of my story with you!
